Subwoofer cables should be robust and flexible, with low shield resistance and high shield effectiveness at audio frequencies, to help reduce the likelihood of unwanted 60-cycle hum in the sub. This cable is made with our proprietary LC-1 Audio Cable stock, designed to address those requirements. Its low capacitance, high flexibility and high-coverage double-braid bare copper shielding are ideal both for subwoofer and for general analog audio use.
To this cable stock we crimp our Taversoe RCA connectors, a three-piece crimp design with a leaf spring to grip the jack securely without over-tightness or difficulty of insertion and removal. All of the jack-contact surfaces -- the center pin and the ground spring -- are gold-plated to resist corrosion.
Because we manufacture on-demand in Seattle, we are able to make this cable in any length you like, and we also offer it in white. If you need a length other than the one shown here, or prefer a white cable jacket, see our Subwoofer Cable department.
